Apik Art Gallery - Gone But Not Forgotten

I had the privilege to showcase my work at Apik Art Gallery in Calgary.  Friday nights I would teach art classes.  When Covid hit, the art store closed.  Now Eau Claire Market is no longer a place to experience the arts.  Sadly the market was torn down by the city of Calgary.

It was an amazing venue to showcase your art.

I grew up in Canmore as a child from Grade 4 to Grade 11.  Our house faced Three Sisters and I would sit on the lawn to sketch the majestic view.  Canmore has always felt like home to me after being transferred around the province with my dad being an RCMP officer.  I still have some amazing friendship roots in Canmore that mean the world to me.
